Article 1: Data controller and scope

SCALNYX (SAS), 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France, acts as data controller for personal data processed through www.scalnyx.com.

This notice explains what data we collect through our website, including when we use Google Analytics and HubSpot, why we process this data, and your rights under the GDPR and French data protection rules.

Article 2: Cookies and trackers

A consent banner is displayed on your first visit. It allows you to accept or refuse the placement of non-essential cookies. Refusing is as simple as accepting: both options are presented at the same level, and refusing has no consequence on your access to the site or on its functionality.

You may change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the cookie management banner, as well as through your browser settings. Your consent is stored for a maximum of six months, after which the banner is presented to you again.

Article 3: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure audience and improve our website. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage data such as pages viewed, navigation paths, session duration, approximate location, device/browser information, and interaction events.

This processing relies on your consent, collected through the banner described in Article 2. You may withdraw consent at any time via your cookie settings and browser controls.

Data collected through Google Analytics is used only for statistical reporting, website performance analysis, and service improvement. It is not used by SCALNYX to directly identify you.

Article 4: HubSpot (forms, CRM and communications)

We use HubSpot to manage contact forms, demo requests, and marketing communications. When you submit a form, we may collect data you provide directly (for example: name, email, company, role, message) and metadata associated with your request.

HubSpot may also process online identifiers and interaction data (including cookie identifiers, page visits, referral source, and communication interactions) to help us manage prospects, respond to requests, and improve our communications.

The legal bases are your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (for demo/contact handling), and our legitimate interest in improving services and ensuring security.

Article 5: Our newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter or receive marketing messages, we process your contact data and interaction history to send updates, invitations, and relevant information about SCALNYX products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email.

Your data is accessed only by authorized SCALNYX personnel and trusted processors acting on our instructions, including Google and HubSpot.

Article 6: Transfers outside the European Union

Some processing described in this notice may involve transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, where Google and HubSpot are established.

Where such a transfer occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Chapter V of the GDPR, namely the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it.

Article 7: Retention period

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal obligations. As a general rule, prospect and communication data is retained for up to three years from the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required by law.

Article 8: Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

In accordance with Article 85 of the loi Informatique et Libertés, you may also issue general or specific directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death.
