Article 4: Data controller and scope

SCALNYX (SAS), 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France, acts as data controller for personal data processed through www.scalnyx.com.

This notice explains what data we collect through our website, including when we use Google Analytics and HubSpot, why we process this data, and your rights under the GDPR and French data protection rules.

Article 5: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure audience and improve our website. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage data such as pages viewed, navigation paths, session duration, approximate location, device/browser information, and interaction events.

This processing relies on your consent for non-essential analytics cookies where required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time via your cookie settings and browser controls.

Data collected through Google Analytics is used only for statistical reporting, website performance analysis, and service improvement. It is not used by SCALNYX to directly identify you.

Article 6: HubSpot (forms, CRM and communications)

We use HubSpot to manage contact forms, demo requests, and marketing communications. When you submit a form, we may collect data you provide directly (for example: name, email, company, role, message) and metadata associated with your request.

HubSpot may also process online identifiers and interaction data (including cookie identifiers, page visits, referral source, and communication interactions) to help us manage prospects, respond to requests, and improve our communications.

The legal bases are your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (for demo/contact handling), and our legitimate interest in improving services and ensuring security.

Article 7: Our newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter or receive marketing messages, we process your contact data and interaction history to send updates, invitations, and relevant information about SCALNYX products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email.

Your data is accessed only by authorized SCALNYX personnel and trusted processors acting on our instructions (including Google and HubSpot). Some processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area; when this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards (for example European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).

Article 8: Retention period

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal obligations. As a general rule, prospect and communication data is retained for up to three years from the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required by law.

Article 9: Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
